For Mozilla/Netscape, it is sufficient to tell it to accept the certificate for the current browsing session.
Otherwise you have to go through the following:
Go to http://www.cacert.org/-> Miscellaneous -> Root Certificate (The current shortcut to the page directly is http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3 )
Then either click on the Root Certificate (PEM Format) or Root Certificate (DER Format) and choose Open -> Install Certificate (for IE) or Trust this CA to identify web sites (for Netscape / Mozilla, etc.)
